As Teaching lab allows multi-modal, multi-level and ethical teaching analytics in a context-aware classroom, it combines several layers.
First of all, it’s a classical higer education classroom, upgraded with mobile furniture and devices. Secondly, it is enhanced with multiple sensors (e.g, cameras, microphones, robot, eye-tracker) capturing and combining multiple signals (e.g, motion, position, activities, prosody, attention, cognitive load). Thirdly, these signals are obfuscated and globalized by machine learning techniques, in order to shelter the attendees’ privacy.
